SENIOR ARCHITECT
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
-
Architectural registration or on the path to registration – preferred
-
Design and construction document development
-
Familiarity with construction administration process (RFI’s, submittals, and punch lists)
-
Work with clients and team members on all aspects of a project – schematic design through construction administration.
-
The ability to self-direct, multi task and manage support staff
-
Strong visual and verbal communication and organizational skills
-
Proficient in Revit / AutoCAD with experience in Microsoft Office
-
Knowledge of 3D Modeling, Sketch-Up, and Adobe Creative Suite (desirable)

ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTER
Qualifications
-
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
-
Three to five years (minimum) of relevant experience.
-
Prepare accurate architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit in accordance with firm standards.
-
Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules from design development through construction documentation.
-
Coordinate drawings with consulting disciplines to ensure consistency and constructability.
-
Incorporate redlines, markups, and design revisions from architects and project managers in a timely manner.
-
Assist in producing permit, bidding, and construction sets for commercial and industrial projects.
-
Apply knowledge of building codes, zoning requirements, and industry standards to drawing production.
-
Support project teams by maintaining drawing organization, file management, and document control.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Qualifications:​
-
Bachelor’s degree (BSCE) or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
-
Four years (minimum) of relevant experience in low and mid-rise building design.
-
Professional engineering licensure in North Carolina (or via reciprocity). A S.E. license is preferred.
-
Work individually or in a team under the guidance of a supervisor in an office environment.
-
Collaborate with other structural designers to produce contract documents and specifications.
-
Plan and prepare preliminary layouts and detailed design calculations based on client needs, sketches, and/or architectural drawings.
-
Coordinate structural designs with multiple discipline-specific project team members.
-
Capable of delivering quality design services within a managed schedule.
-
Effective communication and independent decision making.
-
Conduct quality assurance of completed work product.
-
Attend meetings with clients and design partners during all phases of the work.
-
Review contractor submittals and resolve construction issues.
-
Occasionally perform field measuring and inspections.

STRUCTURAL DRAFTER
Qualifications:​

Associate's Degree or equivalent in drafting and design, architecture, or engineering from an accredited college or university.
-
Seven years (minimum) of relevant experience in drafting low and mid-rise buildings.
-
Autodesk Revit Certifications are not required but preferred.
-
Work individually or in a team under the guidance of a supervisor in an office environment.
-
Prepare construction documents, including foundation plans, framing plans, sections, and details based on engineered sketches and company design standards.
-
Maintain company drafting standards and participate in the quality assurance of completed work.
-
Coordinate structural drawings with multiple discipline-specific project team members.
-
Occasionally assist engineers with field measuring and inspections.

CIVIL ENGINEER
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
-
Engineering registration or on the path to registration – preferred
-
Design and construction document development in the area of site development
-
Experience in all aspects of site design including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management and erosion and sedimentation control.

Familiarity with current codes, design guidelines, and stormwater management practices
-
Familiarity with construction administration process (RFI’s, submittals, and punch lists)
-
Work with clients and team members on all aspects of a project – schematic design through construction administration.

The ability to self-direct, multi task and manage support staff
-
Strong visual and verbal communication and organizational skills
-
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred with experience in Microsoft Office
